Un ardelean şi un matematician în tren. După un timp trec pe lângă o stână.
Ardeleanul: "1,2,3,4,5... 425 de oi."
Se uită şi matematicianul, scoate un pix şi o foaie de hârtie, calculează... nimic.
Dupa o oră mai trec pe lângă o stână.
Ardeleanul: "1,2,3,4,5,6... 281 de oi."
Matematicianul scoate laptop-ul, calculează, utilizează toate programele complexe de calcule... nimic.
Dupa încă câteva ore trec pe lângă altă stână.
Ardeleanul: "1,2,3,4,5... 892 de oi."
Matematicianul scoate telefonul mobil, sună un prieten matematician, se conectează la internet, caută, trimite mai multe mail-uri, nimic.
- Domnule, nu vă supăraţi, dar eu sunt matematician, membru al Academiei, cu diplome multe, comunicări ştiinţifice internaţionale etc. şi nu am putut număra. Cum faceţi?
- No, d-apăi simplu, domnul meu... numeri picioarele şi împarţi la patru!

Cea mai “cool” oră de mate îşi anunţă câştigătorii!

Procesul de jurizare a celor mai “cool” ore de mate înscrise în concurs a luat sfârşit. În urma analizării celor 55 de portofolii primite de la profesori şi învăţători din ţară, juriul a acordat un număr de 11 premii şi 3 menţiuni.

În curând vor putea fi văzute fotografiile trimise de cele mai cool cadre didactice care au realizat cele mai cool ore de mate şi lista completă cu rezultatele tuturor participanţilor la concurs.

Toţi câştigătorii vor fi contactaţi de echipa Anul Matematicii pentru a li se comunica premiile obţinute şi pentru a se stabili cum pot intra în posesia acestora.

Anul scolar pentru elevi s-a incheiat. Cu toate acestea, eu, Claudia Mirabela Gavrilescu, impreuna cu elevii clasei mele, nu am primit nimic de la dumneavoastra. Ce se intampla oare? Am dori un raspuns.

Stimata doamna Gavrilescu, aceeasi nemultumire o am si eu. Pacat ca ne facem de ras in fata copiilor care au pus suflet si au muncit cu drag. Am tot scris si eu, chiar si pe adresa de e-mail a unuia dintre organizatori si nu am primit nici un raspuns. Eu va doresc vacanta frumoasa.

Anuntul dumneavoastra este din 18 martie, iar astazi e 29 iulie. Sunt patru luni in care nimeni nu ne-a bagat in seama. Nu dati dovada de seriozitate! Suntem dezamagiti profund! Oare ne va raspunde vreodata cineva?

Imi puneam intrebarea de ce nu primim diplomele de participare. Am primit raspunsul citind mesajele colegelor mele . Daca nici premiantii nu si-au primit diplomele, ceilalti ce sa spunem? Doar un cuvant organizatorilor: RUSINE!
